Recently, Anhui Bengbu AIC Fair Trade Branch and the Economic Inspection Squad conducted inspections of 7 stores suspected of selling imitating Samsung and Anycall Mobile Phones on Huaihe Road based on Samsung’s complaint and seized over 230 imitating Samsung mobile phones on-site.
According to specialists in anti-counterfeiting industry, the imitating cell phones are made roughly, and comparing with the genuine cell phones, there are obvious difference in front plate, back cover, key, screen, etc. And their use life is much shorter than that of the genuine. All the seized imitating cell phones changed part of the Samsung and Anycall trademarks, for instance, “SVMSUNG”、 “SAMSVNG”、“Anycoll”、“Anycull, etc., which makes consumers are hard to guard themselves and fall in the consumption trap unexpectedly.

The personnel in this industry reminded the beginners in this industry and consumers that, when purchasing cell phones, it is better for consumers to go to credible stores to avoid being cheated by unscrupulous merchants and protect their own rights and interests from being infringed. The AIC claimed that they would try every effort to give severe raids against various acts of making counterfeit and imitating goods to protect consumers’ legal rights and interests and enterprises’ IP rights effectively and create a fair and harmonious business environment.
