Brief Introduction
CUIPPC was established in Beijing in July 1994. It is one of the earliest firms specializing in IP-related enforcement and investigation in Mainland China. Currently, its business covers Intellectual Property Protection, Commercial Investigation Services, Market Research etc.
CUIPPC is headquartered in Beijing and has established three main branch offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou respectively. In addition, it has set up more than 20 working stations in the major cities such as Shenzhen, ShenYang,Changchun,Harbin, Urumqi, Xi'an, Zhengzhou, Jinan, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Ningbo, Yiwu, Nanchang, Wuhan, Chengdu, ChongQing,kunMing,Changsha, Nanning,etc.
CUIPPC has joined the following international or domestic IP- or investigation-related organizations: AIPPI(1995), ICC Counterfeiting Intelligence Bureau (Sole Chinese Member, 1996), INTA(2002), Guangzhou Anti-counterfeiting Coalition(2001), Yiwu Protecting Well-known Brand Products Coalition(2001), Beijing Trademark Association(2007), WAD(2007) and CII(2007).
CUIPPC has around 180 staff including investigators, clients representatives, lawyers, managers and other supporting staff at present.
CUIPPC provides IP or non-IP services for dozens of well-known multinational companies or law firms.
As of October 2009, CUIPPC had successfully resolved a large number of IP infringement cases, in the process amassing a wealth of experience in conducting raids against counterfeiters. Among these cases, 6,500 targeting manufacturers and 7,000 wholesalers, criminal proceedings have been initiated in over 630 cases, with over 250 persons becoming subject to criminal charges.
CUIPPC has thus by right become one of the most influential IP-related investigation firms in the PRC.
